Thrust Bearings
IMECH manufactures a range of thrust bearings including cylindrical roller, angular contact, and polycrystalline diamond compact (PDC). These bearings can be made to order or stocked in our just in time inventory based on your consumption forecast. Our engineering and design team work with you to define your exact needs to fit your mud motor and oil sealed motor designs. Our races and bearings are manufactured to maximize life cycle and load carrying capacity and to withstand the harshest downhole drilling conditions.
Radial and Tile Bearings
IMECH radial and tile bearings are precision manufactured to your exact specifications. We design and engineer these bearings to maximize the load carrying capacity and life, which results in increased drill time and reduced down time. Wear protection includes slurry, carbide and carbide tile.
Thrust Bearings
IMECH stocks key bearing components including a range of Rockbit Ball sizes, self-lubricating slide bearings, seals, seal boots, and boot kits. We can also supply lubricated mud motor spare parts.
Drilling Motor Tools and Precision Machining Services
We have an extensive machine shop with leading edge CNC equipment that enables us to manufacture components and assemblies as needed by our customers. We work with you to define the specifications, then follow a stringent production process to ensure high performance, quality, and reliability. Some of the parts we produce include mud motor mandrels, drive shafts, and housings.
Heat Treating Services
Heat treatment is part of our manufacturing process. It is also available for customer-supplied material. Let us know what you need treated and we will create a plan. We can also provide repair services for your parts as needed.
Anti-Wear Coating Technologies
Our proprietary anti-wear coating creates a true 100% homogeneous metallurgical bond on iron, nickle, and cobalt alloys – even on curved, complex interior surfaces. With thicknesses ranging from .010″ to .125″, the coating can be custom engineered to serve the oilfield, mining, plastics and power generation industries. Our proven applications incliude pumps, valves, rotary steerable tools and jar components, extrusion barrels, die plates, screw elements, material conveyors, draft-induced fan blades, valves, screens and material conveyors.
